American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging
An association of not-for-profit retirement and nursing homes.

Clearinghouse on Abuse and Neglect of the Elderly (CANE)
The nation's largest archive of publications and resources on elder abuse, fully computerized and searchable.

National Center for Victims of Crime (NCVC)
A resource and advocacy organization for victims of all types of crime, including elder abuse, and for those serving the victims.

National Center on Elder Abuse (NCEA)
A national resource center dedicated to the prevention of elder mistreatment.  The NCEA disseminates elder abuse information to the public, and makes news and resources easily available online.

National Citizen's Coalition for Nursing Home Reform
Advocating quality long-term care nationwide, through citizen action, policy development and information sharing among its member organizations.

National Clearinghouse on Abuse in Later Life (NCALL)
A program seeking to end abuse in later life by improving services and support to victims through advocacy and education.  Created by the Wisconsin Coalition Against Domestic Violence.

National Committee for the Prevention of Elder Abuse (NCPEA)
An association which aims to prevent elder abuse through research, education and advocacy.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Nursing Home Quality Initiative
Providing information on and rankings of the quality of care provided by nursing homes which participate in Medicare or Medicaid.

 The U.S. Administration on Aging (AOA)
One of the nation's largest providers of home and community-based services for the aging and their caregivers.

United States Senate Special Committee on Aging
A permanent committee which studies issues, oversees programs and investigates allegations of fraud and waste.
