• To protect Seattle’s present and future, we believe it is important to promote responsible business practices. That is why we have a strong presence in several of Seattle’s most prominent civic groups, including the Columbia City Business Association and the Rainier Valley Chamber of Commerce.

To that end, our attorneys maintain a commitment to their roots as members of several alumni associations, including the Highline High School Alumni Association, St. Edward Elementary School Annual Reunion Committee (Coordinator, Class of 1976), Holy Names Academy (Class of 1980 Representative to Alumnae Board), Stanford University Alumni Association and theUniversity of Washington Alumni Association.

• We stay involved in our neighborhood as active members of the Lakewood/Seward Park Community Club which promotes local community, social and civic meetings and events.

• The attorneys at our firm also believe in supporting those less fortunate than themselves. That is why we volunteeredto the Home Foreclosure Legal Aid Project to assist Seattle residents who have been hit hard by the real estate downturn.

We have given our time and talents to the youth of Seattle by volunteering at St. Joseph School’s CYO Girls Basketball team, the Mt. Baker / Lakewood Soccer Club, and Mt. Baker Lightning Girls’ Select Soccer Team.

• Selander O’Brien attorneys contribute to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital to bring relief to children stricken with cancer, and ASTAR, a wonderful program dedicated to understanding the causes and treatments for autism.

• Selander O’Brien PLLC has a strong commitment to supporting the women of Seattle. Our attorneys have volunteered for Danskin’s Triathlon of Seattle, the largest all-woman triathlon in the country.

This worthwhile organization instills leadership skills, fosters the development of critical thinking and promotes the individual potential in adolescent girls.
